An industrial duct heating device is an electric heating equipment specifically installed in ventilation ducts, used to heat air or other gases. Its core working principle is to convert electrical energy into thermal energy through electrical heating and forced convection heat exchange, thereby increasing the temperature of the gas flowing through its interior.

The Working Principle of Air Duct Heater

The core principle is to safely and efficiently convert electrical energy into thermal energy within the airflow.

1. Core Heating Element:Electric heating tube

This is the core component for achieving electrical heating conversion, usually a stainless steel finned electric heating tube. Its internal structure is as follows:

· Heat source: Uniformly distributed high-resistance electric heating alloy wires inside the tube.

· Insulation and heat-conducting layer: The gap between the electric heating wire and the metal tube wall is densely filled with crystalline magnesium oxide powder. It possesses excellent insulation and heat-conducting properties, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and safety during use.

· Heat dissipation enhancement: To increase the heat dissipation area, metal fins are often wound around the tube outside. This can expand the heat dissipation area by 2-3 times, significantly improving the heat exchange efficiency.

2. Control System and Safety Protection

To achieve precise temperature control and ensure safe operation, the Air Duct Heater incorporates multiple protections:

· Temperature control: The gas temperature is monitored and adjusted in real time through the thermostat, achieving precise temperature control. Some models can adjust the temperature at a rate of 10°C per second.

· Safety interlock:Usually linked with the Fan, it ensures "start thefan first, then heat up", preventing dry burning without air.

· Multiple protections: Equipped with an over-temperature protection device and a fuse, it automatically cuts off power in case of abnormal temperature or failure.
